Confused Gender Turkey

That moment when your dang young male turkey keeps running off the dang yard, and you're tired of chasing him, so you decide he's gonna be Thanksgiving dinner, just to find a huge mess of eggs that turkey is trying to brood, and you realize that dang turkey is a lady with a beard.

Sigh.

I have Bourbon Reds. I haven't checked if they are fertilized yet, they could be if the jake is doing his job, which he has been... I thought he was standing on the one that has been laying as a dominance thing lol, whoops! I should try to get a picture of her later.

I guess that doesn't make sense. I was given these 3 turkeys as a breeding trio. I already had the Jake, so I thought I had 2 males and 2 females. Especially since the one lady has a beard lol. She kept running off the back yard to the front yard, every day, it was so frustrating, so I kept chasing her back into the yard for her safety. Husband found the eggs this am when he chased her off the nest not knowing.

Could be wrong, but it doesn't really look fertile to me. I threw the rest in the incubator anyways.
