Confused on Blue breeding

So.... one of the breeders in the discussion just messaged back and said that I was right. He just looked at the downsized image and assumed the "white" bird was splash.

The person who made the original comment with the image is talking out of something other than their mouth. Here's a quote from them.
Both the dominance in black and white gene fight and you end up with a blue or slate blue even a pretty grey . i did this with rabbits but they have to Both be dominant genes .

Ummmm.... last I checked, rabbit breeding is different from chicken breeding.

Unless you are taking an acid trip to Easterland.
