CONFUSED ON Ivermectin pour-on!! Help please

I got Iver-on 250ml for for cattle for 14.95 from TSC.

i put 3 drops on mmy bantams
So 5 for large bird
4 for in between
and 2 for seramas.

Right behind there neck is where i do it !

I have been reading this thread allso and from what I understand it is for worming chickens. Am I right!!!!!!
