Hi, Can anybody help me? I have 2 4week old Indian Runners, They are eating crumbs still atm (and also bits of salad), but do not seem 2 be getting full up on them, Ive done abit of research but found lots of different answers, I would like to know when they can move on to Growers Pellets??
And then what age to come of growers?

I recall switching slowly from crumbles to small grower/maintenance pellets between two and three weeks of age.

Are you giving them chick grit, or do they go outside much?

And clean water is always available to them? Is food available 24/7?

Just trying to get a picture of your management style - there are many variations that work, but some things are less helpful for the ducks than others.

And then I keep them on that until they start to lay. Once they start laying, I mix the grower with chicken layer feed 50/50. I'd like to try mixing in a gamebird feed, but I can't get it anyplace within an hour drive of where I am. [IMG]
