LOL !! The dog LOVES when we get poop eggs, She's gotta have the best coat around... But, OMG.... Somtimes I cant stand her stinky egg butt EWWW !!!
If I get a dirty one, I just wash it and put it in the rotation to use next. The bloom is mostly important if you're going to be storing your eggs for a longer time. If you're going to be using them right away, I wouldn't worry about it.
All my eggs are washed and coated with olive oil and placed in a clean egg carton in the fridge. There could be bacteria on the egg and you don't know it so its safer and cleaner to wash them and replace their natural coating with oil.
We only rinse our eggs in luke warm water and pat dry if they are really gross. Otherwise they go right into a basket in the fridge to be used as is. I do make sure to wash my hands before handling any other items if I touched a poopy egg.
B. We always have sand paper a orbital sander and buffer around and for a vise we even have one that goes into our rear hitch of our truck for whan we are at the race track.
Thanks to all the rest for your input I guess my dog will have a shiny coat not that I get alot of dirty poopie eggs but I wasn't sure what to do with them.

I rinse mine in warm water then dry them before refrigerating them. My eggs only get a bit Narsty if the weather is wet and they track dirt and yuck into the nest boxes.
