Solved Confused with inviting people to conversations

I am not sure how you invite more members to a conversation. Is this right? (Will get a screenshot.)

To invite someone to a private conversation, click on the persons avatar and then click on the *start a conversation* link. To invite people to a thread you've posted, like this one, type an @ symbol, followed by their screen name, like this: @Smuvers Farm , @AMERAUCANAS4REAL

Ok so it's like normal invitations. That makes a lot more sense
