I bought these chickens from a mexican family, and they said they were Barnavale breed.
But they don't look like the pics.I've seen of Barnavale"s.
Can some hopefully tell me what breed are????
Please look at my pics.under breed on my profile an see it you can help me solve this problem
(Sorry don't know how to post pics.in a. Tread)so sorry.lease help me.
thanks

Since I have never heard of a barnavale I wouldn't know if they looked like one. What they do look like is cross breeds [aka mutts].

a mutt is just a crossbreed, not a bad thing, infact it is often used lovingly on this forum

I agree that yours look like crossbreeds, the hen a Black sex link, the rooster a... who knows what

They are beautiful! Honestly cross breeds are my favorite!
1. they are the healthiest (hybrid vigor)
2. they are unique and beautiful
3. often great layers
4. tend to be the friendliest
5. full of surprises

I love my "mutt" chickens
