Congenital deformity? Missing claws

It looks like she's always been missing them, so whether inheritable or not, appears to be something she was hatched with. It's too regular (same toe on both feet and looks the same on both) to be an injury or due to too much wear.

That is what I was thinking.

Ewww, Yuck, that is horrible. I have a 1" mesh floor in their mobile coops so I don't have to muck. As far as I know, this pullet is the only ones missing toes and as RedDrgn said, it is probably too clean and too regular to be trauma. I've looked at quite a few of my chicken's feet recently because i have been banding them for ID purposes.

I agree. I ended up with a bunch of hatchery polish chicks this year, and many of them were missing toes in the same manner. And being 3 days old when I got them and no sign of injury, I figured it had to be a issue from inbreeding.
