Has anyone had a hen that sounds like somebody that has bronchitis? And it's real croupy sounding, I put her on fish penicillin for almost ten days.I've kept her separate from the other hens, but it's not getting better any ideas

I have experienced this sound with crop issues. I administered a few drops of olive oil and massaged the crop. I did have one who didn't make it even with this treatment but it helped others. Just a side note, I have stopped using straw or hay for bedding because of crop issues. Haven't had issues since.
I'm not positive that's the issue but I do hope your hen gets better.

Did your hen have any symptoms, such as bubbles or foam in either eye, swelling of the eyelid or face, nasal drainage, or gasping? Can you get a short video of her breathing and upload it to YouTube or a similar site with a link posted here? How does her crop feel first thing in the morning before she eats or drinks (when it should feel empty and flat?) With most respiratory diseases, penicillin usually won’t help. With mycoplasma (MG) Tylosin or Denagard are helpful. With infectious coryza, sulfadimethoxine (Medicox) can help. Those are available at jedds.com online. If it is a virus, such as infectious bronchitis, antibiotics do not help, but they may improve in a month or so.
