Congested young chick

I have a chick that fell in water yesterday and is now congested. I bought the chicken yesterday and the seller did not tell me how old it is. Is there anything I can do to help it? Thank you

If this were a horse or goat (or even a human) I would say the wee thing aspirated water into its airway. Best to keep warm and if you have any antibiotics give to the wee chickie. Moving around will help with circulation and air movement (and movement of any fluid) in the lungs.

Aspirant pneumonia is a real risk for any foreign 'thing' introduced into the airways: water, feed, chemicals... etc. Please keep us posted - and good luck!

Getting congested in the afternoon, you may want to try an antibiotic to see if that makes a difference.
