This is my year old Ameraucana, Esther - having stepped up to the job of hatching 9 Swedish Flower chicks. She went broody - nearly as soon as they arrived from the post office. Amazing timing.
One chick hatched with curled toes - and immediately got a tape splint. Two days later - looks perfect...

You should be very very proud of how well that broody of yours is doing in taking such good care of the chicks! Sure beats the brooder-box dilemma I went through. I'm am SO hoping that out of my 4 BAs one of them is a roo. I don't ever want to go through that again...ever!
