Has ANYONE ever hatched a conjoined chick or two chicks out of one egg and get them to stay alive!?
I've never seen conjoined chickens... but I have seen the video evidence of a double yolker hatching and both chicks living...
Do a YouTube search... it's on there.
Pictures for sure
As far as I know, there was ONE BYCer that successfully hatched twins in a single egg. It was awesome. I don't remember her name.
Twins or Conjoined chicks
conjointed chicks, no. I don't think many do survive.
there are chicks with extra body parts tho-
Awesome,I definitely check out the video. Has there ever been a chicken with 3 legs?that would be cool.
I haven't actually hatched twins, because they quit just a couple of days early, but when I cracked the egg afterwards, there was one red and one black chick in the egg. I have a photo, but can't seem to locate it just now.
