i thought turkeys are mean? every one that i ran into wanted to beat me up

No Jimmy and his daughter turkeys are the sweetest ever!! Jimmy and his daughters hand raise and spoil them with love and if one is lucky enough to get one from them, they will just fall in love with them

I guess everyone's experience can be different but, so far I have one that follows me everywhere and soo curious as to what I'm doing he's my shadow and the others are clucking at me to say "Hey My New Mom, Wheres the treats?"

oh well hehe, 2 of my hatchery silkie chicks made me sad, one has like no feathers on its legs and feet and the other (a splash) doesnt have a good amount either. sigh, good thing im getting some from pam. now i have to hope that my other splash is a girl, i like the splashes. i really wish this thing had a chat box like facebook does lol

yea her silkies are pretty, yours too, i got 6 chicks from this hatchery, didnt know there were breeders here in ct lol, i got 2 splashes and 4 blues in my batch, thought 1 was black cause it was so dark but pam told me how to tell, so its just a dark blue, just a couple of the blues and that 1 other splash ended up with a good amount of feathers so far, they just need to grow in their head and neck feathers, they look silly right now, puffy bodies and peach fuzz necks and heads with pokey things sticking out that are their feathers coming in lol.

Appointment with Dr Lis the state Vet tomorrow in Hartford figures it is going to rain. I hate I84 in the rain hey I hate it when it's dry too!
