I was shocked b/c all my other 10+ cockrels were cool with the babies but, this one boy is like deathly afraid of them

I hope that changes b/c the last one I had like that wind up killing a few chicks and he went to the pot in someone else kitchen! I just hope my first instinct is wrong

my polish was fine with them outside and in a bigger coop, but once they went into the white house together he wanted to kill them, so i put them with my silkie roo rudy and he was like welcome, you guys are my friends. these guys are my easter egger chicks and polish chicks. my polish mo is an idiot anyways, he started a fight with my hen just to get his butt kicked. no one wants to be his friend, they all like rudy cause he's so gentle and accepting lol. i love that guy and so does everyone else lol

Yeah they will!!! THey will be towering over her!!! The last time she hatched them out though I don't think they realized till I took them away from her that they were not a little chicken too!!

Thanks for the eggs! Do you know how they will feather out if their heads are brown and bodies are blue? Do you have a pic of one?

i would guess just like those black buffs debbie was hatching just put blue where the black is.6 out of 8 is not bad tell your hen good work.

o.k beth went out an took some pics of debbie blue buff roo norman he is buff hen with our old blue roo yours will be much bigger.last few pics are her blue roos from rienie she is selling one of them if anyone is interested.

BTW I couldn't see the pic's of the blues before that well b/c I was on my cell but, tell Debbie I like the one that is a bigger body and has the dark cape all the way down his back and over his wing feathering. The other one is kinda lacking in that department. In other words if it were me chosing who to get rid of I would pick the lighter small guy to go and keep the bigger one. But, I'm learning to always have two roo's per color breed b/c you never know what could happen if you lose one you will have to start all over again

Soooooo I have a Brutus Jr. and Two blue's. This way I will not be out of a color. Only thing is if I lose my white roo I will be begging to borrow debbies!!! hehe But, the same goes for her if something happens to him I have one for her to borrow too!

Yeah she's a good foster momma. She will give them lots of love and warmth. She even cleans their bums!!
