I may start carrying my pepper blaster out to the coop at night. I do have a good one of the bear running down the driveway. I bravely yelled at it from the safety of my doorway and saved my precious bird feeder (I mean, it was a Droll Yankee...).

Brand of bird feeder. In general bird feeders are tad pricey, droll Yankee is on more expensive side. Got it because it had a good hawk proof cage to protect the little birdies. My ocean state job lot birdfeeder withstood a previous bear encounter so cheap can be good too!

Oh very interesting,learn something new everyday,if I decide to buy one now lie know what too look for.And ocean state is tricky sometimes you can pick up a deal and sometimes made in china junk,but I will say I buy some chicken snacks there for a good price.

Home of adventure shopping! I like it for gardening stuff, contractor garbage bags, tarps, and disposable cutting boards and all the other random stuff that I never new that I needed till I went there. Yes, some hits and some misses with OSJL purchases. But that 3-chambered tube feeder really held up the bear could not pull it down. I had replaced the hanging wire with heavier stuff but still, the feeder itself had to be tough to take all the pawing.

Do you remember the store called Mr. Amazing? There was one in Norwalk and another I think in Bloomfield? I was little but I remember going there and thinking it was the most exciting thing.
