Wow, I'm a little afraid of you.

On the one hand, they can not exist in my universe. On the other hand, I've never killed anything.

Well, unless you're a predator that wants to eat one of my girls for lunch, you have aboslutely nothing to fear! I promise.

Rat "relocation" is not a viable option, poisons can't be used around chickens and other pets, ditto for traps. In my opinion, a tactical approach, implemented in a safe and responsible manner, will have the desired affect: No rats, safe chickens, pets and eggs. Plus you get to learn a new skill.

Got my first egg today! I think my BR Peppermint Patty laid the 'milestone', a nice smooth brown egg, on the small side but hey, I can't make eggs come out of my backside so who am I to criticize? Woohoo!

Congrats Jen!

Rachel has me hollow out the first egg from each hen, then she dates them and puts them on display.
