Connecticut!

BIB try petco. They have a in kennel/cage feeder, It is a flat sided cup with hangers on the back to slip over the wire of the cage. They hold about a cup, i use them in my coop for oyster and grit and am thinking of getting a couple to go in the run. Being city bound they can't free range so I try to spoil them the best I can without over doing it.

Great to find this thread on chickens in CT. I think I read somewhere that someone was looking for chicks in CT but I can't find it. I live in Weston and have hatched out 50 chicks over the last three weeks. Most were to go to my neighbour who unexpectedly can't take more than a few at the moment and I can't keep the rest in the spare bedroom!!! I have bantam mille fleur cochins, silkies, olive eggers, araucanas, showgirls and after the chicks hatch today ( don't count your chickens before they hatch) some coronation sussex and perhaps some lavender orpingtons. All the eggs have come from breeders and not hatcheries. Once my neighbour chooses the few she wants and we choose the few we can keep I need to sell the rest. Anyone interested?

Hmmm... Silkies, Showgirls, Lavender Orps....

Who were the breeders of those? What colors?

Rain was a horror my appointment was changed to after lunch when the rain got heavier Dr Lis had a conference call at the same time as my appointment so we had to meet after. I arrived at about 10:40 for an 11am appointment and because I had some time to kill before my appointment 2 hours to be exact I drove to Rein's Deli in Vernon and had corned beef on rye with mushroom barley soup and a side of coleslaw Yummy! I got stuck in a traffic delay coming home someone hit a light pole and it came crashing down across the right lane sheash!

I got home at 5pm I was so wiped from the drive I was in bed at 8pm lol my normal bedtime is 9 anyway so it was just an hour earlier.

She gave me the just released updated version of the NPIP regulations said I was the first person to get a copy.

Wow, you sure did have a really interesting long day!

The first that that popped out while reading your post was: corned beef on rye with mushroom barley soup and a side of coleslaw Yummy!!!! Now I'll be dreaming about this meal until I get it! But, I do not think I'll be driving to Vernon for it
