I have Mille Fleur Cochin Bantams from Funky Feathers. Silkies black white blue from CJ Silkies with and without beards and muffs, Showgirls from McCallums Flock and Araucanas from JC Hink Mountain Poultry, Olive Eggers from Chicken Scratch and possible Lavender Orpingtons from Hodges Farm ( pipping at the moment). I am hatching some black copper marans from Rock n G Ranch for someone else and she said depending on how many hatch she may not want them all.

Yes, they are an amazing assortment and all such wonderful personalities. Due to an unfortunate series of circumstances I have ended up with all these chicks plus more in the incubator in the spare bedroom. Due to reasons I won't bore you with, I no longer have the barn they were all supposed to go into and no coop at all!! I am in a rental and as we will be giving notice soon I am just imagining the reaction of the real estate agent when she shows potential buyers/ renters the spare bedroom and finds it full of chicks!!!

Happy Sunday morning

Well my hatching eggs I won at the chicken festival hatched. I have 5 cute fuzzy butts running around underneath my silkie broody! I will try to get pic's later.

I did take this pic Friday and shared it on a silkie page but, wanted to share it all with you b/c it's too cute!!

This female Royal Palm Hen is just gently pecking food on the ground with my 5 month old parti pullet. If Birds could talk I just know the silkie is like WHAT THE HECK IS THIS LONG LEGGED THING? lol

What's everyone up to today? Anything exciting?

today i cleaned up the yard alittle big, got 1 coop cleaned than had to get ready for a birthday party for my mom's boss's son who turned 1. he just kept kissing caroline. that's exciting that the babies hatched and the hen is very pretty
