Hi Mike, Hi Rachel, Hi Eric,
What kinds of chickens do you guys have? Eric , I know you have an awesome new coop but I'm not sure if you have chickens yet. Did you decide what breed of rooster you want? I want to see pics of that coop when it's all painted. I have Barred Rocks, Buff Orpingtons and Salmon Faverolles. I'm dying to get more in the spring but need a bigger coop. I'd love some Welsummers or leghorns or more rocks for a free range flock. I also have to put in an electric fence around my property first because I have a neighbor who doesn't seem to understand the leash laws. Stay warm, JEN

Yes, I decided on a Barred Rock rooster. It was a tough call between a Buff Orpington or the Rock. I am getting a mix of birds.
SPECKELED SUSSEX.
SILVER LACED WYANDOTTES
PARTRIDGE ROCKS
BARRED ROCKS
WHITE ROCKS
BLACK AUSTRALORPS
BUFF ORPINGTONS

all will be here on or about the 19th!

Thanks for the comment on coop. It has been fun building it. I just can't explain how excited I am to get the chicks!

I dont live in CT, but am on the border over in New York. Danbury is next door. We frequently drive through and shop in Ct its a gorgeous state. I just love Stew Leonards!!!!

i only have ducks sice the town decided to built old people home in my backyard so they can commplain about how they down like MY house in their yard. i was here first and i had to get rid of my turkeys
