Mel curved her side inwards slightly, allowing the dagger to just brush through her fur. She put the knife down even harder on Reynardia's throat, threatening to cut it. "You had some nerve coming to my place and attacking me." Mel spat.

"I'm not attacking," Reynardia said, "I want to know why you're doing this."

"I just gave you the reason. Consenia is mine, and all of you rebels are resisting to my leadership." Mel growled, not lifting the dagger up at all.

Reynardia narrowed her eyes, "The council is the leaders." she growled.

"No, I am." Mel continued to banter with her. She knew that the argument would have to end soon, it probably wouldn't be long until the rest of Consenia became aware of her disappearance and her warriors weren't exactly ready for a fight yet.

Reynardia's eyes flicked to the sky for a second, hoping to see Gabby or Incendia or someone friendly.

Gabby had long fled, not wanting to be any further involved. Mel slowly released her grip on Reynardia's scruff, but kept the dagger to her neck. "Go home." She growled.

Aithne launched herself into the sky, doing a slight twirl before flying towards her home. Once she was over her mountain, she tucked her wings into her side and dived, snapping open her wings at the last moment and landing on a rocky ledge. Flicking off some ashes, she curled up next to a magical fire that warmed her to the bone and helped restore her natural heat.

At first Reynardia was surprised, but she tried not to show it. She turned into a fox and started down the mountain, her mind racing, So the uprising has begun, she thought.
