Atalanta galloped through the charred forest, leaping over overturned logs. She could still feel the smoke in her throat. When she came to the edge of the forest and at the beginning of the valley, her stomach plummeted.

Everything was burned, and some things were still burning. The sky was gray from smoke, and bodies of unfortunate animals and occasionally a magical creature could be seen, some still looking up at the sky in terror. She gives a loud whinny of defiance, her resolve strengthening for revenge.

"They will pay for this." She muttered to herself, pawing at the ground in anger.
