Aurum screamed with outrage, gripping Shade, determined to drag him down.

Dapple looked around despairetly, trotting up to Xzarnon and Reynardia, "Have you seen Crystal?" he asked.

"No, I haven't," said Xzarnon, looking back at Reynardia.

Crystal walked sheepishly up to Sombre. "Get me something to eat. And make it quick." Sombre ordered Crystal. Crystal trotted over to one of the other pegasi. "What do I do?" She asked her. "Go find a unicorn to help you get an animal. Make sure to come back... or else you'll face the wrath of Sombre." The other pegasus replied. "Thank you." Crystal replied, flying off with a unicorn. They landed fairly close to the lake. Crystal looked around for a deer, with the unicorn following her.

Reynardia shook her head, "Not since a few days ago." Dapple glanced around, "I'm going to go find her."

Crystal finally spotted a deer. She pointed to it, and the unicorn went after it and killed it with her horn. She laid it on Crystal's back and they started trotting toward Sombre's cave. They passed by the lake, taking a break from their long walk.

Dapple flew over the lake, looking for Crystal, "Crystal!" he called, close enough to hear from where Crystal was.

"Let's go!" Xzarnon said to Reynardia, motioning to her with his head. "We need to help find Crystal!"
