Dapple's eyes widened, but he tried to stay calm. "If anyone can fight," he said, "We should stay and defend Consenia. Does anyone know anywhere safe to hide?"

Mel led them to the edge of the mountain overlooking Consenia, and told them her plan and what they were going to do.

Dysis nodded, "Excellent, Mel," he said.

Mel turned around, grinning confidently. She stared down at Consenia for several long minutes, the silence eerie. The only movement she made was the faint rise and fall of her chest, until a single word escaped her lips: "Go." Almost instantly, Sylvia and 2 other Phoenixes shot into the air, diving down towards the valley as their feathers caught fire.

Miracle heard what Dapple had said and thoughts flooded hear mind, fight! Oh no! I can't fight, I'll fail everyone!

Dysis flew beside Slyvia, he dove down, lighting the top of a tree on fire. Incendia gasped when she saw him, the sound turning quickly to rage. "If you can't fight, leave!" she said to the pegasi and took off.

Dapple turned to everyone, "We're out of time! Follow me!"

Sylvia grinned at the tree Dysis had lit on fire, swooping low to the ground. A few blades caught on fire, and it quickly spread before she moved on to several other trees along with the other Phoenixes.

Crystal flew into the air, but a burning tree branch fell on one of her wings. "dapple!" she cried, fear clouding her thoughts as she fell onto the ground, and fire circling all around her.

Lily turned and shot into the air, looking to see what's happening. She hid in the clouds.

Miracle found herself following Dapple, below everything was catching on fire. Then she heard Crystal cry for help and turned to see her pinned to the ground, "Dapple!" She whinnied franticacally "We have to help Crystal!"



Misty stopped and listened, ears pricked toward the crackling sound of a fire burning. Then she saw what she was looking for, and orange tongue of flame licked the sky, Misty took no time to spin around and gallop the opposite direction of the fire.
