"Wait...What?!" She cried, her dark head snapping up and her mane falling around her like black rain. No wonder Dawn is with Incendia, she thought. Kneeling, she looked at Dawn seriously and asked "Do you have a home?"

"nope." dawn replied, shaking the dust out of her mane.

"Would you like to live with me?" She asked, hoping for her niece to say yes.

Atero looked at Jet. "Good," he said coldly, "You know where true power lies."

"yes please." dawn replied. "but now I'm confused 'cause my aunt is my momma... So do I call you aunt or momma?"

"Either one." Atalanta replied, her mind whirling with possibilities. She still could not believe Katrina was dead, and her heart mourned for her lost sibling. Either way, she was determined to be a mother and friend to her relative. "Where is your father?" She asked, standing up.

Incendia was glad Dawn had found someone to take care of her. It was the first spark of hope she'd had since the fire.

"he died too. I'm the only survivor of the three of us." Dawn replied.

Saevio too? She thought, internally shaking her head. She nuzzled her niece one more time before turning back to Incendia. "Thank you." She said, softly. She bowed slightly, and started walking away towards the mountains.
