Aurum had no idea who had robbed him, but he knew he was going to get revenge. If whoever had stolen from him was in the valley, he'd help kill them. If he found otherwise, then he'd still get his vengeance. He spied Mel, and soared over, landing a couple yards away. "Hello," he said, "I'm here to join."

Crystal was digging around in the dirt, when she found a small crystal. "Huh." She said, looking at the glistening stone. She picked it up and trotted over to Dapple. "Look what I found." She said, dropping the crystal in front of him.

"Aurum," Aurum said, "And I want to kill them." He gestured to the valley.

"Wow," Dapple said, he'd never seen a crystal before, "What is it?"

"I... don't know." Crystal replied, inspecting the stone closely. "Do we know any Griffins? They might know, it is shiny and pretty and looks like 'treasure'."

"Maybe there's a friendly one here," Dapple noticed he was getting tired, "We could look for one in the morning."

"Aurum," Aurum said, "And I want to kill them." He gestured to the valley.

"Good. You can stay at a nearby cave for now."

Aurum nodded, his cave wasn't too far, besides he would have to guard his things.

Mel hopped off of her rock, heading back into her cave.
