Here is a great example. Being looking for this hen for a day just now found her under my other deck would have never found her if my dog wouldnt have been staring at her. So now I have two broody ladies.

I have jumbo eggs for eating.
I have bantam partridge wyandotte eggs that have been 100% fertile. I'd hatch them if my incubator wasn't full. Guess you could eat them if you wanted to

I also have a very few golden lakenvelder eggs that are fertile.

Turned out into the coop early, but with lamps. They're doing great!

A little piling, not much. No harm no fowl!

This is S_hitz (foreground). He had a bad case of pasty butt and we thought we would lose him. He's very independent and the smallest of the bunch, but he eats, drinks, plays, and hangs out under the lamp. I might keep this one, he's my buddy... I don't know if he's a he or she. I tried my hand at sexing and ended up with poop instead.

I see more white than black, but I believe you since you have lots of experience.
I am elated! I'm the only man in the house. I have my wife, daughter, two dogs, and adopted dog, and they are all girls. Now I have a man to hang out with. I am definitely keeping this guy. He lets me pick him up and hold him, and he just sits there and coos. How cool is that.
