Consolidated Kansas

They're out of the bins at Bargain Depot again, but I stopped in and told the guy I'll buy 25 if he gets more in. He's used to me asking about them, as well as others, because a lot of home brewers love them, too.

If you want one or more, send me an EMAIL telling me how many. They have been $8 plus tax, so let's call it $9. I'll put all those emails in a folder and then have a list of folks who want them when they come in- he'll call me, I'll buy them, and if you want to come get, or arrange a bulk haul, or want it full of food, or whatever, we'll just arrange that for when it's convenient.

I keep my feed in them, a big bag of Calf Manna, Chick Starter mix, etc.

Going to get a couple for dog and cat food, too.

I will need at least 2 bags, 4 would be better! I have trash cans I normally put the feed in. What is easier for you - just getting it bagged or bringing you my cans? I do like the look of the containers from Bargain Depot....

Let me know - do you want me to Paypal you the money?

Thanks! And yes, the birds LOVE it. And their poo is different! It was different after just changing to ultrakibble, but it is even better yet with the addition of the whole grains. Glad to hear about adding the grit. That will take of some of my birds who seem to be clueless about going to the grit bowl and ingesting it.

Okay, you're noted on the order sheet- I've got you for 200#
If you want to bring me some old feed bags, we can fill those and save nearly all of the bagging charge, but still have a mobile load w/o me looking like Beverly Hillbillies w/20 trash cans strapped to my truck...

Don't know why I didn't think of that before! And environmentally friendly!...I still want Ivywoods's hopper-cart-thingy!

For anyone that shops in Emporia - This weeks Shopper has an ad saying that Bluestem will have chicks and other poultry babies Friday, April 1, 9am to 2pm. Take you own transportation boxes. They will be coming from Heartland Hatchery in MO.

Ok,

Feeling kinda lame cause I never have time to get on here but I wanted to put out there to you Pheasant Lovers that I NEED to sell a beautiful pair of Lady Amherst pheasants due to not enough room and my son just isn't interested in them like he is with his Silver Pheasants.

Don't want to let them go but they need a more loving home with more space. They are beautiful! Very healthy. Let me know with a PM.
I also have a Buckeye Rooster that needs to be Re-homed because I have to many. He is Laura's stock - make me an offer!

Hope all is well in Kansas land, I know I'm ready for some gosh darn sun!

200# for Sandy
200# for Bob
100# for Christy
200# for Alison
50# for Michelle
50# for Liesl
50# for Wheels

Jenn, did you notice Jordana actually ate a little because she couldn't help the curiosity? Had me cracking up! Said it was good...but crunchy. She doesn't even own chickens yet!!

Okay, you folks out west who said you were wanting to try it: this is the time to let me know, because I think I'll be going to make more on Monday. I'll be really doing a good big batch this time, it looks like, so I need to know whether to get my trailer...

I'll call her with the recipe so I can find out the cost per bag, but it should be around 25 bagged.
