my bantams eggs were really small. they only laid about 3 a week.

Finally I have my wood stove up and running.

Yay!! I cooked breakfast on my wood stove this morning. Ons dinky egg, one silkie egg, and to top it off one duck egg. Gotta tell ya the silkie egg was the best WOW!!! The old english x serama was really good too, but not as good as the silkie and the duck.

So here is the list. (5) Ameraucanas, (1) Black Australorp, (1) Brown Leghorn rooster, (5) Buff Orpingtons, (2) Plymouth Barred rocks, (5) Red Sexlinks, (1) Salmon Faverolles, (2) Silver Laced Wyandottes and (10) White Leghorns.
What we’re looking to get this spring is some strait run Salmon Faverolles. Yes you all are right I know that I can get what I'm looking for local here but I have my heart set on getting me a Faverolle Rooster this year. If anyone knows where i might get a hand full of strait runs here local to Kansas I'm willing to drive a bit to get them.

Thanks for the advice. I made a little nest box that only she could get in. Maybe she will start hiding them there for Darin. I noticed that Big RIR roo has been getting to her. Poor little thing. Its like a great dane on a chiwawa.
I think if it was a fox it would have killed chickens and eaten other eggs.
