Constant, loud parties in the brooder

Hey easttxchick--I heard there was a convoy headed your way. Something about budweiser trucks, grow lights, a band....anyways, thought I would give you a heads up. Might want to check on that brooder later. Kids these days...

Thanks for the warning.
This is gonna be WONDERFUL, my husband, my maniac doxie, ALL of my neighbors and my hooligan chicks are going to have one giant blowout in my house. I'll be the one with my fingers stuck in my ears screaming, "Hey, you bunch of jackwagons, keep it down out there!".
dwegg I'm so glad it's not just my LBC chicks-I think the little BLRW would have been fine, had it not been for the bad 'uns corrupting her.

dsqard I haven't had to issue an APB at this point, I ALWAYS know where they are due to the volume of their slam dancing-I guess the time I need to worry is if it ever gets quiet out there.
I don't think they sleep-EVER!

I've smiled, I've chuckled, I've even giggled some at BYC threads... but this one was the first to actually make me *cry* I was laughing so hard. Condolences on the hooligans, but thanks for making my day end on such an up note!

Considering my name was mentioned what...twice?...how is it that I am just now finding this thread??? I even did a double take on the OP's name...what??? easttx having chick problems??? no way!!!

I have to be nice to easttx right now, cuz she's saving my broody's butt (and mine). On the other hand...Ranchy! I only have easttx's address so I can pick her up. We're on our way to your place to dump all my broodies and her hooligans in your backyard!

I've been waiting for something from you-I didn't think you could resist!
Even my DH mentioned how loud these chicks are. It's in the 30s at night right now, they have 7 feathers between the 3 of them and he asked me last night, "They're ready to go out now, right?" Bwahahahaha.
I need to get a new picture of them-they are SO cute.

Tell him to get used to the noise. It's just prep for the longcrowers.

I love the sense of humour on this forum. I always find myself laughing out loud. Gotta love those chickies - good, bad or otherwise!
