Constant, loud parties in the brooder

EEs are not nomaly tailless, but since they came from the Araucana or Americana, they can carry the resesive trait. Thats what I was told when I posted her picture to find out why she doesn't have a tail.

Here's pictures of the oldes bunch of hooligans. The only reason they can't tip over the water or the feeder is because they are made out of 5 gal. water cooler jugs. They keep knocking over the furnature, hen boxes ect. Digging huge dust pits that could hold a land mine. I fell when I stepped in one. They thought that was halarious.

They sure look like trouble makers, lol they are pretty did you hatch them? and how many chickens do you have total? that last one looks like it's saying "are you looking at me" what breeds?

I have 36 chicks total from three hatches. RIR roo crossed with the hens in my signature. Unfortunately a bob cat got him and he was replaced with a McMurry BO. I plan on hatching BO chicks with my 2 BO hens.

good afternoon, so I really need to get busy and play catch up I only have 17 hens And I want more!!

I am thinking more Brahmas they are the sweetest cuddly things.. so ibeier, you are forcing me to work hard at catching up..I understand BO are nice gentle birds too is that right?

They are very gentle including the roo. I got him when he was 9 mo. old and he was very shy. The previous owners alpha EE roo beat him up when ever he got the chance. I was afraid it might have made him mean. I've had him a month and we have a mutual respect for each other. He has never even tryed to sneek up behind me or made any signs of aggression. He's real good with the girls. The RIR was a terrorist. He was one mean roo I was relieved when the bob cat got him.

Thats probably why the chicks are such hoolagins.

It refers to the stripes on the young chick's feathers that are like those of a chipmunk. Many different colors start out that way.
