Constant pasty butt!

I agree with trimming, I just trimmed all my hens, most don't need much taken off but it does make for cleaner eggs and cleaner rears. Just take a pair of scissors, start at the vent and sort of trim straight down.

I would try DE (diatomaceous earth) and make sure it's food grade. My local feed store sells it. It's not likely to kill all intestinal parasites but it will reduce them to a manageable level. Most animals immune systems will deal with them but some don't for some reason or other. You can mix it into their feed or mix it into some leftover oatmeal. Try maybe a tablespoon per cup of feed and see if that helps.

I will occasionally do the same for my cat as he gets parasites from the mice and rats he kills. I also sprinkled it in the nesting boxes when I noticed some bugs in there. Worked great for me so might help your situation.

Usually the feathers won't grow back unless you pull them all the way out, so if you cut them right, then you shouldn't have to do it again for at least a few weeks. All chickens vary, so you can try.
