Constantly getting errors.

I reload the page a few times...nothing happens. After about 6 to 7 times it gives me the option to force reload. After I force reload the page it goes back to normal.

I don't get any "error" notifications with freeze ups. I use to be able to shrink the screen and reload it and the page would unfreeze, but this doesn't work anymore. I now have open a new tab and open a new BYC page.

I get the feeling it's something BYC has that ad-blockers block. I've been using one (on top of PFM) and have had no lockups.

On a PC, it's the same thing been going on here as I've posted about before. I get the "Oh Snap" pop-up, then I reload, or the pictures don't load, so I hit refresh and they do then.

I think it's an ironic glitch that daily I open up all of the New Members and new replies, so sometimes I have 10-15 pages open, and only one random one will freeze, while all of the rest remain fine.

Earlier I had an issue on my phone, which was a first. I was scrolling down a page and half of the page disappeared. I closed out the page and reopened it and it was back to normal. I use Chrome on my phone. My PFM had run out this morning, so I didn't have my PFM when this happened.

A quick update: We're still working diligently on this!

We've got an actual team of peeps trying to figure it out, and we have a few things we're testing to try and isolate the issue.

I’ve been stalking this thread a bit… I’ve gotten quite a few error notifications over the past few weeks, I just assumed it was because my pfm ran out. The page will freeze up, and then reload, giving me a message that says “something went wrong and the page was reloaded.” After this it usually goes back to normal for a bit. I’m on an iPhone running iOS 16, using Safari.

It started with the 'join us' pop up.
And now with the double pop up asking to allow for push notifications the freezing got even worse.
I am using Firefox on Android phone ( not the app as it does not work) and Firefox on laptop.
