O-M-G, I just watched the video. Lets just say when your chicks arrive from the hatchery and they seem traumatized I can understand WHY! Wow.

I agree that is awful way to handle your babies. Hope they aren't that rough with their children OMG.
Anyway my chick that is plugged up got a baby chicky anemia today, I got alot of crap out but there is more, he is back to pushing and chirping tho he had some relief for several hours, so will keep ya posted as we go see the anemia thread also. Kim

I'm glad it worked out for you I lost one that had the same symptom as yours but I think she was bad from the before I got her. As I picked her up that evening and she was gone by morning even though I was on here reading about soaking and cleaning and everything..

Yeah, I was not too thrilled with how they treated the chickies on Dirty Jobs but the more gentle version that I performed on my little girl seemed to help. She still acts like her bum is hurting or sore but all other activities are normal.

I had one chick that got constipated because they were eating the paper towel I had them on when I first got them. I got her back on track and put a little Preperation H on her little butt using a Q tip. It reduced the inflammation almost immediately and she was feeling better in no time.

I once saw them vacinating chicks on TV and they toss them down a type of shoot when they are done! No wonder I have one hen that is a little freaked out!!!
