The woman I got him from offered to replace him but she lives about two hours away and for one chick I thought it would be too far to go. Especially because I would think the one replacement chick would get cold on the long drive home and I'd probably come home with three then..

I understand ...you have to weigh the cost . I dont think there is a chance of the chick getting cold in this heat ..LOL You are right though if you add more you should add more than one . So the newbies have friends ..one chick alone will probably get picked on .
