constipated poult

oh boy, this poult looks uncomfortable. it tries to poo, but nothing comes out, it's whole rear end is swollen and bulbous, and when i squeeze it's butt, poop comes out like a big zit (really, ewww, sorry). there is no pasted vent, poop is not drying or covering the vent, this poult just can't seem to squeeze it out... yikes!

for baby chicks, people use a little molasses in the water for this.

Also try olive oil or cooking oil etc... to help lube the insides..... poor baby. Had a peachick like that and it had ended up pooing out a bunch of horse hair ??????? and the poult was in a raised wire cage...... horse must have walked past and got tail hair caught on the wire and peachick decided to eat it.............
