Trying to find any information on toe constriction issues that have caused black toes and now sloughing skin on 6week old chick's knuckles? I need to form a treatment plan for my girl. HELP PLEASE!

Not exactly. I haven't gotten picture of her toes but the tips are black and are for sure going to fall off eventually :( I am worried about her puffy knuckles becoming infected. Wish there was an easier way to search toe constriction treatment.

There is that how? Pretty sure it is gangrene at this point.

I've never dealt with gangrene, so no idea on how to treat it (if there is a treatment). Research I've done really fast is showing that its pretty much fatal. Thats all I have to say.

xssyxssy -- Did your chicken's infection heal? I have a 2-week old chick that had something wrapped around its toe. The tip is black, but middle is red/pink, and it's not swollen, so I am feeling hopeful.
