Construct your own feeder

Omran. that's a neat feeder. Is there anything special on the inside so that you can fill it right up?

I'd like to design a homemade hanging feeder for my turkeys and chickens as the darn things are so expensive to buy. Anyone have any ideas/plans?

Here's the one we made for Suede's coop, mainly because it takes up less room. Works beautifully!

This is one of my homade feeders, has small holes drilled in the bottom in case any rain blows into it.

This is another using a 5 gallon bucket and a plant pot tray. The tray is secured to the bucket so that it can be hung up inside the coop.
