Construction of my coop!!!!

Construction will start tomorrow at the crack of dawn! An by the way we done found the big hog an he is about 300 lb... That's Florida for ya my dad shot him 200 yards away from where the coops goin

Very nice carpentry- very solidly built, but I guess
it needs to be with all the predators you've got over there!
(I only have to worry about foxes, dogs & hawks)

Question, so the concrete pad is because you are in the country correct? I am a urban chicken newbie and looking for information

A concrete floor is a good idea wherever you live.
It stops critters burrowing in, keeps the floor dry and is easy to clean.

Ashburnham is right we put the concert footer there for two reasons/ 1 it stops cyotes front diggin in. 2 it is a very stable foundation. An thanks everybody for the comment I'm VERY. Happy happy happy the way it turned out. I still have pictures that I will post after school
