here’s the pic of my mini bucket which holds about 2 cups oyster shell. It sits on the 2x4 run frame and I bungee it to the HC in a tipped position. The bin next to it is for grit in winter.

I did one similar to yours and it rapidly became a potty. Rhode Island Reds are acting like rednecks. I have them hanging now.

Thanks! I rigged up something similar with some zip-ties. So far, so good, and minimal spillage!
