Contemplating doing in the extra roos from the hatches this year

My question for everyone is how do you kill them? I like things to be quick, efficient, and as painless as possible.

So, give me suggestions! It will be a few more months until they're big enough to be worth it (since these aren't really meat birds).

PS - I'm a big softie, so keep that in mind when you make your suggestions please! I am ok with graphic, but there are some things that I will not do.

Most people use a hatchet or slit the throat.

Don`t wait for them to put meat on, then they`ll be tough and still won`t have much meat on them (compared to cornishx). Process them early, and you won`t have as much, but it will be edible!
