OK, so Clara is a dog, not a chicken, but the rules do not specifically exclude other species, they just say any fowl are welcome. I think she believes she is a chicken, does that count?

Even in our brutal winter conditions, I was able to keep a small, covered dustbathing area open for the girls. It was a mixture of sand and peat moss- by raking it every day and trying my best to keep snow off it, it never got frozen solid, with enough of a dry top layer they could dust reasonably well.
