What happened to the voting??? When and where were the finalists announced??? Why do I keep missing these things???

I ASKED THE SAME QUESTION AND NO ONE ANSWERED IM SO CUNFUSED BC THEY SAID THEY WOULD PICK 10 FINALISTS AND WE VOTE AND THERE WAS NO VOTING

Maybe they wanted to hurry up and get done all of the contest judging so they chose the winners?!? But i definitely agree that the 3 winners chosen had the best flapping pictures!

I think if they were going to up and change the judging rules on ids like that, surely they would have let us know, right?
I was in a few contests that said BYC would choose finalists and contestants/BYC members would vote for the winners and I didn't see a chance to vote on any of them. I thought it must just be me.

I voted for the brooder contest and caption contests they are the ones i can remember that had members vote.

I'm just grateful that they took time out of their busy lives and time away from their own new HAL babies to set up, coordinate and judge all these contests, helping us out all the way. Bummed I didn't win, but the winners are spectacular. Congrats to all!

RIP Prince Eric (my entry)...you will be missed but man, you were tasty.
