Why are there some guesses higher than that?

I'm even surprised by the number of guesses that didn't go over but are still well over 8,000. I don't know many people that get over 90% hatch rate.

I guess they were hopeful or new to hatching. It's a gamble and don't evev count external pips as hatched now days had a few pip and die so i just quit counting those as well.

Good idea... I'm not part of this count but I have found a hidden nest where we started with 4 viable eggs that seemed around 4-7 days along with candling... They would be around 14-17 days now and I've tossed one due to crack and something happened to another. I'm down to 2 that should hatch within the week. That's a 50% loss already just out of mine.

Can't wait to find out the total.
