Ended Contest # 4 Edible Easter. 8th Annual BYC Easter Hatch a Long!

Here is my second entry:

A mother duck coaxes her ducklings to swim in the pond.
The ducks are all sugar cookies; cut with craft-store .25 cent-bin cookie cutters. They are decorated with food color/sugar glaze and cocoa powder "paint", and sit on a pond and grass of color-sorted jelly beans.

Here's my first entry!

My Spring Tree! I used meringue and made the stump, half of the trunk and branches, and then the other half. I glued together the trunk and then glued them on the stump (I used chocolate as glue) I decorated it with pecan halves to make it look like bark. I used a mini wheat, cut it, and made it a nest. I made a little bird from Peep filling and covered it and chocolate, then stuck it in the nest. Then I used green peep candies, and glued them to the back for leaves. I really can't believe it can stand up on it's own!
