Please don't put chicks in danger to get a picture. This contest goes until after Easter, so people that have broodies for the hatch along can get some pictures.

Don't worry, I was just kidding anyways. A staged picture just would not compare to these adorable ''real'' pictures, plus I'd never knowingly put innocent babies in danger.

momma hen out teaching her chicks. She hatched out 14. She did have about 20 some. But the rest didn't hatch. All free range and her first time.

Yes it was. Totally unexpected. Went out that morning to check on them and there she was with her chicks
