The only thing that makes me happier than looking through this thread is playing with my own chicks. Thank you everyone for posting, and reinforcing that I'm not nuts, like my family thinks I am for being a crazy chicken lady!

Just because you are a crazy chicken lady doesn't make you nuts. But the rest of the world looks at chicken owners as a bit off. So enjoy the chicks and have fun with the fact that you are unique.
