What type of dna testing is the easiest to do? Feather? Blood? Trachea?

How old is the bird you want to test? Very young chicks have pliable little toenails for blood testing and are more easily restrained. You obviously want to go slow and be careful not to cut any further than you need to. Grab a helper and watch a couple YT videos before attempting. Have the styptic powder ready.

It also seems gentler than pulling multiple feathers out.
