I got ya beat. I had one pullet lay an egg in a nest box stored in the attic of the coop........no shavings or anything in it, just up there in storage.

Here's where I found an egg last week. I couldn't believe it! It was slightly cracked & could have been there a while..... Because who looks UP to find eggs?!

My guess is that the nests were full, so she hopped up onto the shelf. Then the egg rolled off the back.
