It was hard to pick which of my boys to use, in the end it came down to who posed the prettiest this morning, shown below is a 3 year old black LF Ameraucana rooster.


The Amer attempted to escape his photo shoot by hiding behind pines but I was persistent.

This is my boy Clyde! He's a Mille Fluer De'Uccle Bantam and he's about a year and a half old. Bonus hen, his partner in crime Bonnie. Sorry for the bad pictures. I forget to take good photos of my chickens and today is gloomy and rainy. Clyde has been through some trauma recently with a baby rooster maturing and bullying him (that's why he's in a cage in the first two photos, I had to take him inside and baby him a bit after I found him covered in mud and cowering under my deck). After dealing with the rooster that needed a new home I am happy to say that Clyde just recently found his crow again and is starting to strut his stuff again!

This is my Black Jersey Giant Rooster, Big Daddy.

He is very proud and protective of his herem of 10 hens.

I think he is especially beautiful due to the green, blue, and purple tint of his black feathers when the sun hits them.
