Name of Bird: Licorice
Age: 10 years old
Breed: Cochin
Size: Bantam

That's right, 10 years old!

My husband's little man! As a young bird, Licorice lorded it over a flock of standard size hens. Now in his retirement years, he has his own little coop with a lady more his size to share it with. He still thinks he is big stuff, though - he'll peck anything that offends his dignity, from our cats to our mastiff!
10!!?? Holy Grandpa chicken! He's a handsome old man.

Okay, my turn to enter. This guy is my avatar currently, too.

Name of Bird: Bachelor #1 (I'm trying hard not to name him, as he's just supposed to be an unwanted, spare roo to test free-ranging on my property, but I've gotten very attached to him and he'll likely find himself named soon enough!)
Age: Unknown (Picked him up a few weeks ago from a BYC friend). Best guess ~2 years old.
Breed: EE mix. (Yeah, that's kind of redundant, but he's basically an EE with a single comb.)
Bantam or Standard: Standard

I would guess six pounds he's an american game so standard size and lean. Him with his ladies
400
